Selective Pallet Racking

Selective Pallet Racking is the most common and versatile type of pallet racking system used in warehouses and distribution centres. It’s designed to store palletized goods in horizontal rows with multiple levels, allowing direct access to each pallet. It’s ideal for handling diverse SKUs and frequent inventory turnover because each pallet is stored on beams and can be accessed individually by MHE without moving other pallets, ensuring efficient picking and replenishment. Unlike selective racking, it allows forklifts to drive directly into the racks to load or retrieve pallets. Key Features: It maximizes storage space by up to 85%, allows both FIFO and LIFO operations.
